Releases with founder review

Here's what happens to your jobs once Foremind sees them.

Foremind runs construction operations autonomously — estimates, schedules, crew coordination, client updates — so before a contractor hands it a real scope, they want to know what the AI actually touches, where it lives, who on our side can see it, and whether their data trains anything. The answers, in plain English, follow.

Specific values — named providers, retention windows, named sub-processors — are marked Founder review pending below. Every email about this page goes to a real person. Email us.

Data the AI accesses

Foremind reads and writes the working data a construction job actually generates, because that is the data the AI needs to estimate, schedule, coordinate crews, and write client updates. Concretely, the system touches:

Estimates — scope notes, line items, unit costs, margin assumptions, and bid history.

Schedules — task lists, dependencies, lead times, weather-driven re-sequencing, and milestone dates.

Crew assignments — foreman, crew leads, daily tickets, dispatch notifications, and time-against-budget rollups.

Client communications — names, email addresses, phone numbers, and the client-update messages Foremind drafts on your behalf.

Project photos — walkthroughs, progress shots, and photo-based intake used to build the first-pass estimate.

Drawings and takeoffs — plans, measurements, and material counts used to draft the estimate from a takeoff.

Where data is stored

Your workspace data lives on encrypted, US-based cloud infrastructure operated by the same tier of provider you would expect from any modern SaaS product. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and encrypted at rest at the storage layer.

FOUNDER REVIEW PENDING

Founder confirms the specific cloud provider, the exact regions in use, and the current SOC 2 / equivalent attestation before this paragraph ships to a contractor.

Who at Foremind can see it

Nobody at Foremind has standing access to your workspace data. The default is zero access. The only exception is support — and even that is scoped:

Nobody on the sales, marketing, leadership, finance, or "trend-report analyst" sides can read your workspace. There is no standing read access for any of those teams.

Foremind support staff only read into a workspace when you open a support ticket and explicitly grant access, and only for the lifetime of that ticket. Access is revoked when the ticket closes.

Production access for engineering is tied to incident response only — read access is logged and reviewed after the fact, not used to browse customer data.

Every employee with any data-access capability signs a confidentiality agreement as part of onboarding, and access reviews are part of the standing security practices.

Whether your data trains the AI models

No. Your project data — scope notes, drawings, takeoffs, client information, bid history — is used to run Foremind for you. It is not used to train the underlying AI models.

Aggregate, fully-anonymized patterns may inform product decisions (for example, lead-time patterns in a region). No individual job, client, or contractor is identifiable from those patterns.

You can opt out of even the anonymized aggregate analysis at any time from workspace settings.

Sub-processors acting on your data (e.g. underlying model providers) — FOUNDER REVIEW PENDING on the named list and contract terms.

Retention and deletion controls

You own your workspace data, you can take it with you, and you can delete it. Standard consumer contracts include deletion of all workspace data on termination, with the specifics spelled out in the MSA.

Export — a full workspace export is available on request, returned in a portable format.

Delete — a workspace can be deleted at any time from settings; deletion is confirmed in writing.

On termination — consumer contracts include full deletion of workspace data; specifics (timing, written confirmation) are spelled out in the MSA.

Backup retention window after deletion — FOUNDER REVIEW PENDING (the founder confirms the exact window before this ships).
